"Looking for Karma at the Eden Caf�" Author Speaks

Local Southern Oregon author Ellen Levine will be reading passages from her latest novel, Looking for Karma at the Eden Caf� on Sunday, October 10, from 3 ? 4 p.m., at the Applegate Branch Library, 18485 North Applegate Road. Books will be available for signing and purchase with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Friends of the Applegate Branch Library.
 
After a successful career as a community college instructor and administrator, Ms. Levine now writes in a studio she built in the woods behind her home. She won the ?Bloomie Award? for her short story ?My Mother's Closet,? and has been published in various educational and professional journals.
