Download the Classics for Free from Library2Go

Jackson County Library Services is excited to announce the addition of more than 15,000 public domain e-Books from Project Gutenberg to its Library2Go link on the JCLS Web site. This featured collection enables library users to discover and instantly download thousands of free classic e-Books, in the industry standard EPUB format, without holds or waitlists. JCLS patrons can visit the Library2Go link on www.jcls.org to search for titles, hit the download button, and save the free e-Book to view on their computer or transfer it to an e-Book reader. 
 
{1}Most of the great literature of all time is available, from authors like Shakespeare, Dickens, Tolstoy, Austen, and Twain. Most of the books are in English, but also included are books in French, German, Chinese, and other languages. And e-Books downloaded from the Project Gutenberg collection don?t expire or count against checkout limit.
