The Monday Afternoon Movie Series continues, starting on Monday, December 6, at the Phoenix Branch Library, 510 West 1st Street. Movies are shown from 2:45 ? 4:15 p.m.

December 6: Check out the book How to Train Your Dragon, and then watch the movie by the same name, rated PG, about the ten-year-old son of a Viking chief who must capture a dragon for a rite of passage.
December 13: Check out the book The Borrowers, and then watch the movie by the same name, rated PG, about tiny little people who take great pains to go undetected as they live off of borrowed items.
December 20: Watch a movie about toys that are mistakenly delivered to a day-care center instead of the attic right before the owner leaves for college. It's up to their leader to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home. Rated G.

December 27: For fans of the comic strip Marmaduke, come watch the movie by the same name, rated PG, about a rural Kansas family and their pets as they relocate to California.
