A free Writing Workshop begins January 12 and runs to March 2, 2011 at the Ashland Branch Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard. The classes are held each Wednesday from 1 ? 3 p.m. Participants are welcome to attend any or all of the eight workshops.
{1}The classes are open to both new and experienced writers of all genres. Spontaneous writing is balanced with voluntary reading aloud. Focus is on generating brand-new, first-draft writing. Experiment and build your writing skills and confidence while you write in a supportive community. Writing prompts are provided at every session by facilitator Deborah Holmes.
