A special free program, ?The Wonderful World of Weather and Water,? will be presented at several local libraries, sponsored by Jackson County Library Services and Friends of the Library groups.
Using special props in a show-and-tell format for children and adults, National Weather Service meteorologist Ryan Sandler and hydrologist Spencer Higginson will teach how meteorologists observe and forecast the weather. Attendees will also learn how to stay safe in severe weather.
