The Jacksonville Friends of the Library invite you to enjoy an uplifting performance by three Rogue Opera singers on Sunday, April 17, from 3 ? 4 p.m., in the Naversen Room of the Jacksonville Branch Library, 340 West ?C? Street.
Steven Gutierrez, baritone, will sing ?Tourne, Tourne, Miroir? from Les contes d/Hoffmann (The Tales of Hoffman), Act 4, by composer Jacques Offenbach. Soprano Jamie Banister will sing an arietta, ?Vaga Luna,? from Composizioni da Camera. Kelly Hammond, mezzo soprano, will perform ?Steal Me, Sweet Thief? by Italian-American composer Gian Carlo Menotti, with piano accompaniment by Mikiko Petrucelli.
Produced by the Jacksonville Events Guild, this special benefit performance to sustain Saturday open hours for the library is sponsored by the Jacksonville Friends of the Library.
