A special free program, ?The Wonderful World of Weather and Water,? will be presented on Thursday, January 20, from 3:00 ? 4:30 p.m. at the Ruch Branch Library, 7919 Highway 238.
Using props in a show-and-tell format for children and adults, National Weather Service meteorologist Ryan Sandler and hydrologist Spencer Higginson will teach how meteorologists observe and forecast the weather. Attendees will also learn how to stay safe in severe weather.
